Raith Rovers FC - Away Kit Campaign

Paying homage to the ‘shipwreck’ season of 1922, where the Raith Rovers team’s ship run aground on a shallow coastline, as they headed to the Canary Islands for a series of friendlies, the club’s 23/24 away shirt had to communicate that story. So did the campaign.

The campaign was teased with co-ordinates, leading curious fans to the port of Las Palmas, where the squad finally landed and a clue for the launch.

From there, we picked out a key design element of the shirt, the Canary Island’s silhouette, alongside the Joma and club branding, to continue to build the story.

For the launch, our campaign intended to be bold, communicating the historical event through the use of archival photography in collaboration with Raith Rovers’ club historian.

The result was the club’s best ever selling away shirt.

History made on top of history.
