Official re-brand of the Hibernian Community Foundation
The Hibernian Community Foundation have established themselves as a crucial contemporary force in and around their local community of Leith and Edinburgh since their inception – a golden thread back to Hibernian’s own charitable origins.
Building on the foundation’s trajectory of growth, we were tasked with creating a brand identity that represents their heritage and ambition. Both a part of Hibernian, and apart from the club.

At the heart of our concept is community, a word we chose to emphasise in the logo, keeping it front and centre of everything featuring this brand. The logo itself is tied into the broader Hibernian culture with the sun sitting above Easter Road stadium,
a reference to The Proclaimers’ classic ‘Sunshine on Leith’.
The sun also represents the warmth and openness of the foundation, whose work isn’t restricted to fans of the club, but open to all.

Seeing this branding around the stadium – and worn on hoodies by the players and staff – feels incredible. Through all of the early fan consultations that became the basis of the strategic work, led by 80 DAYS Managing Director David Gardner, to the physical presence of the signage at Easter Road, we’ve grown very fond of the logo and how it will come to life in the future.
We will be working closely with the Hibernian Community Foundation over the coming months to develop this project – so stay tuned!
