Re-branding of the iconic Tournoi Maurice Revello in France.
The Tournoi Maurice Revello - best known as Toulon Tournament - is a prestigious youth tournament held annually in the South of France. For 49 years, Toulon has been a launchpad for some of the world’s most illustrious names like Cristiano Ronaldo and, more recently, Kylian Mbappé.
Our work on the tournament’s upcoming edition aimed to add a contemporary dimension to their iconic and much-loved logo. By building on the diamond motif, we were able to integrate the old with the new. Our choice of bold colours and raw graphics emphasise the personality of the event, the nature of the emergence of talent, as well as the esteemed identity of Toulon.

We also wanted to nod to the evocative French poster art of the 1950s and 60s, alongside adverts of the era, all the way up to recent South of France staples like Cannes Film Festival.
In addition to this, we are developing the tournament’s 50th (next year) branding - to celebrate the milestone in memorable style.
